About Caroline

Born in Southern California and raised in Las Vegas and Boulder City, NV, Caroline attended Cal State East Bay and later worked as an analyst for Nestle in the 90s. After focusing on and successfully raising three responsible, financially independent children, she cofounded Topaz in Austin, Texas with her husband, Jorge Chavez, and currently serves as Executive Vice President. She helps transform the company into a scaleable global sales company, leads a marketing team to build branding and reach new markets, and continues to develop and improve all systems and processes to enable continued growth.

She intuitively understands customer needs and translates that into successful partnerships, building positive relationships with everyone around her.

Favorite Aspects of the Job

Caroline loves building processes that help our team and clients become more successful and organized. She thrives on creating efficient systems that make everyone’s lives easier and more productive while working alongside her fantastic team.

Core Values

The three values that drive Caroline are Generosity, Creativity (“brainstorming is my favorite”), and Responsibility. These principles guide her work and interactions with others, making her a compassionate and resourceful team member.

Interests and Favorites

Caroline is a proud mother of three grown sons, two delightful daughters-in-law, and one adorable grandson. She enjoys gardening, RVing, and exploring estate sales in her free time. She enjoys historical fiction books, such as 1776 by David McCullough and The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. Caroline also really loves classic country and disco music.

If Caroline could give her younger self one piece of advice, it would be to stick up for yourself and others — by advocating for your rights and defending others’ interests fosters a culture of empowerment and equality in business, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to succeed.
