About Brad

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Houston from age 8, Brad is a seasoned sales executive with more than 25 years of experience in sales and two decades in leadership roles. A proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Brad’s career began at Dell, where a pivotal meeting with his future wife, Shawn, launched both a personal and professional journey that continues today.

Sales Background

His sales and consulting leadership spans major firms including Hewlett Packard, Accenture, Merkle, and Slalom, with a focus on helping clients achieve measurable success.

In 2020, Brad founded his own LLC to help international software development, data, and AI companies break into the U.S. market through tailored go-to-market strategies and sales consulting. Today, he brings his insight, energy, and deeply held values to Topaz, where he thrives in a company culture rooted in faith, shared purpose, and integrity.

Favorite Aspects of Sales

Brad finds deep meaning in helping others, whether clients, colleagues, or partners, become the very best versions of themselves. He is especially passionate about guiding companies to sell more effectively, hire wisely, and build responsible, high-performing sales teams. One of his greatest joys is witnessing those “ah-ha” moments when a team embraces the Buyer Facilitator philosophy and begins to experience life and work with joy, confidence, and abundance.

Core Values

The values that drive Brad are honesty, being a learner, and kindness. These principles shape how he shows up as a leader, mentor, consultant, and human being. For him, working at Topaz, a company aligned with his personal faith, work ethic, and vision, is not just a career choice but a calling.

Interests and Favorites

Brad has been married for 23 years to Shawn, originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. Together, they have two wonderful children: Charlie, a junior at Mizzou, and Kate, a sophomore at Purdue. At home, his loyal white lab Murphy, age 10, keeps him company at his desk, while he continues to learn to like Ellie, the family cat.

When he’s not working, Brad enjoys creating unforgettable memories through international travel with his family, especially to unique, less-traveled destinations like Albania, Zakynthos in Greece, Porto, and Spain.
