His work with Topaz includes the Metahire training videos, Topaz website and videos, marketing strategy, and brand strategy.

About Carson

Carson Coots, originally from Katy, Texas, and now living in Austin, is a proud graduate of Texas State University. He has owned his own video production company, Cognitive Films for 15 years with clients to include YMCA, Deloitte, Canva and Corteva Agriscience. Carson is a devoted husband to his wife, Anna, and a loving father to their two children, Cooper and Eva. At home, he enjoys spending time with his family and tending to their flock of backyard chickens.

What He Loves About Topaz

Carson first worked with Topaz as a video producer helping to transform the way we delivered Metahire and quickly became an invaluable team member as a fractional Director of Marketing. His favorite aspects of his work at Topaz include experimenting with technology and engaging in creative problem-solving to help us scale our digital engagement efforts. His passion for innovation and knack for finding unique solutions have aided us in growing our business and make him an integral part of the Topaz team.

Advice to Younger Self

If Carson could give his younger self one piece of advice, it would be to understand that most people are “just winging it” and figuring things out as they go along. This realization helps him navigate uncertainties, adapt to changes, and approach challenges with confidence and resilience to remain agile in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
